Chief Growth Strategist

At Greg O'Hanlon International Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead a team of 350-400 van sales representatives in selling an extensive portfolio of 80 SKUs across retail and wholesale markets. This dynamic role requires exceptional leadership skills to inspire and dominate a diverse sales force, optimize operations, and drive strategic growth across all channels.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide strong leadership and clear direction to the van sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results. They will oversee and manage day-to-day sales operations, ensuring seamless coordination between field activities and strategic planning to achieve company objectives. The individual will take full ownership of the sales team's performance by implementing effective management strategies, motivating the team, and driving operational excellence to exceed sales targets.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of overall sales experience in Foodservice Key Accounts, FMCG sales management, or distribution sales. The ideal candidate should have proven experience managing and leading large sales teams with a track record of driving consistent performance, accountability, and results in high-pressure environments. They should demonstrate ability to command authority and effectively manage a large and diverse team of sales professionals across retail and wholesale operations.
Additional Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of Foodservice customer Ways of Working (WoW) and RTM strategies, with trusted trade relationships in global markets. They should also have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
