Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to lead our PeopleSoft General Ledger support and enhancements, ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting. This role requires collaboration across IT, Finance, and external service providers, driving process improvements, and managing key finance system initiatives.


This position involves leading the support and enhancements for PeopleSoft Financials (General Ledger, Multicurrency, Consolidation, Allocations, Journal Entry processing, etc.). The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of core modules (GL, Consolidation, Allocations, Multicurrency, Trees & Queries, GL Workflow) and a solid understanding of financial processes (tax provisioning, AP/AR).


The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating application management activities across multiple regions and time zones, developing functional specifications, managing testing (scripts, UAT, regression), and delivering user training.


They will provide subject matter expertise on financial processes, including VAT, withholding tax, and reporting, as well as assist with integrations, reporting tools, and analytics (SQL, Power BI, nVision, Business Objects). Additionally, they will support governance, prioritization, and monitoring of Finance IT initiatives.



Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:


  • 5+ years' experience in PeopleSoft Financials (A Must)
  • Strong knowledge of core modules (GL, Consolidation, Allocations, Multicurrency, Trees & Queries, GL Workflow)
  • Solid understanding of financial processes (tax provisioning, AP/AR)
  • Hands-on experience with testing, training, and problem resolution in PeopleSoft
  • Familiarity with PeopleTools, SQR, Autosys, and system integration
  • Strong SQL and reporting skills; exposure to Power BI or Business Objects is desirable
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience in global/multi-time zone environments
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, or IT with a strong interest in both domains
