Job Title: Procurement Officer

A 3-year fixed-term contract is available for an experienced procurement professional to manage procurement processes, collaborate with stakeholders and work in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source goods and services in line with organizational policies and best practices.
  • Prepare and issue tender documents, evaluate responses, and support contract award processes.
  • Manage procurement processes from start to finish, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and conducting tenders.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines and manage the eTenders platform.
Requirements:
  • A qualification of at least level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications or a minimum of 3 years' relevant procurement experience.
  • Working knowledge of Public Procurement Directives, National Procurement Policy, and relevant circulars in Ireland.
  • Experience with the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) and procurement frameworks.
  • Strong organizational and priority-setting skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
