We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced commercial professional to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our commercial management team, you will play a vital role in driving the financial success of our projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client and supplier relationships, providing commercial guidance, and maintaining accurate records.

You will work closely with our programme commercial managers, project directors, and project teams to achieve our commercial objectives and deliver results.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage client and supplier accounts, including payment cycles, sub-contracts, and liabilities
  • Provide commercial guidance on contracts, dispute avoidance, and negotiation
  • Maintain accurate records, including event registers and entitlement documentation
  • Contribute to the production of monthly project reviews and work package management reviews
  • Implement commercial strategies and processes to enhance our commitment to continuous improvement
  • Represent the commercial team at project, business, and client meetings

Requirements

  • Graduate entry degree level requirements or equivalent
  • Up-to-date continuing professional development records
  • Professional qualification with a quantity surveying-related organization (ideally chartered status)
  • Contractor background with strong multi-discipline D&B experience
  • Construction industry standard forms of contract and commercial terms
  • Quantification, costing of construction works, and task elemental cost analysis
  • Conflict avoidance, management, and dispute resolution procedures
