Site Management Role

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to manage and oversee commercial projects.

The successful candidate will have a time served background or be degree qualified, with excellent experience in delivering high spec residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with contracts managers on week-to-week operations.
  • Coordinate project activities with design teams and clients.
  • Manage services sub-contractors through designated coordinators.
  • Work closely with senior engineers on engineering details and design.
  • Collaborate with purchasing managers on material and plant requisitioning.
  • Control labour, plant, and equipment on site as finishing foremen.
  • Monitor cost issues and compile the variation log with senior quantity surveyors.
  • Maintain site records in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements for quality and environmental management.
  • Oversee sub-contractors, engineering, and operational staff, and support project managers in delivering projects to superior quality, on time, within budget, and implemented within required safety, environmental, and quality parameters.
  • Schedule weekly work programmes and review weekly progress reports for master construction programmes.
  • Facilitate information flow between design teams and construction teams.
  • Support communication between design teams and sub-contractors.
  • Attend and chair weekly management team meetings.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Trade qualifications or minimum 10 years site management experience, or an engineering degree/diploma in a related discipline.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Package.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of responsibility.
