Job Title

We are seeking a professional to support our team in the Collections Department, working part-time hours every 4 weeks. This is a permanent position based at our Cork Centre.

The successful candidate will work as part of our collection team, supporting our strategic priorities and improving customer experience. The role involves providing care to donors before, during, and after the donation process, under the direction of our Clinical Nurse Manager or Registered Nurse.

About the Role

This Donor Attendant role is responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional care to donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
  • Working closely with our clinical team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, contributing to our quality system and code of conduct.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual who can thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Leaving Certificate or FETAC Level 5 qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal fluency in English.
  • Proven computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
