Senior Construction Assurance Expert

About the Role:
This role requires a highly experienced construction assurance specialist to support the project supervisor in overseeing all construction activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring works carried out by design and build contractors, witnessing testing, and ensuring compliance with the scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the project supervisor in overseeing construction activities.
- Monitoring works carried out by design and build contractors.
- Witnessing testing and checking compliance with the scope.
- Ensuring that all works are carried out in line with quality defined in the scope and specifications documents.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in carrying out construction management/supervision on road/infrastructure projects including reinforced concrete structures.
- Land survey experience required, including setting out.
- Fully proficient in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a collaborative culture across project teams.
- Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ability to deal with and resolve unforeseen risks and issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Safepass accreditation desirable.
- Chartered/Incorporated/Associate Engineer of a relevant professional body desirable.
