A highly experienced Head of Finance & Operations is sought by our organization to join its rapidly growing medical device company. This role offers the opportunity to shape the operational and financial backbone of the organization as it scales internationally.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure sustainable growth, efficient processes, and a strong company culture. They must also have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial planning, budgeting, and reporting are overseen while managing cash flow and vendor relationships.
  • Collaboration with external advisors ensures compliance with tax and accounting regulations in Ireland and the US.
  • Providing financial insights supports strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Scalable finance systems and processes are built to support growth across regions.
  • Business operations, including HR, IT, facilities, and administration, are managed to align with the company's scaling needs.
  • Functional leaders are partnered with to streamline operations and remove bottlenecks.
  • International expansion is supported by establishing consistent systems and processes across regions.
  • Cross-functional projects, such as implementing new systems or setting up customer support functions, are led.
  • A positive company culture is fostered, onboarding is managed, and performance reviews are overseen.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in finance, business operations, or general management is required, ideally within a high-growth company.
  • Professional qualification in accounting or significant hands-on experience in finance-related roles is necessary.
  • The ability to build and optimize operations, finance, HR, and administrative systems is proven.
  • High technical literacy with a track record of implementing technology-based solutions is essential.
  • Leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and driving cultural alignment are required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and solving problems independently.
  • Experience in an international context, particularly in Ireland/US, is advantageous.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to contribute strategically at a leadership level is expected.
