About This Role

We are currently recruiting Support Workers to provide day-to-day support with personal care, life skills, and community activities for adults with intellectual disabilities in a homely environment across Tipperary.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive care team in a rewarding role, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support with personal care and life skills
  • Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life
  • Assist in the implementation of Person Centred Plans
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a care setting (preferably in disability services)
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Shifts & Hours:

  • Part-time Residential: 49 hours per fortnight
  • Evening midweek shifts: 4:30pm - 10:00pm
  • Saturday shifts: 12 hours
  • Sunday shifts: 10 hours
  • No overnight sleepovers
  • Extra relief shifts may also be available if desired
