Opportunity to Support Adults with Intellectual Disabilities
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities? We are currently seeking part-time support workers to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for adults with intellectual disabilities. You will provide day-to-day support with personal care, life skills, and community activities, while also assisting in the implementation of person-centred plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day support with personal care, life skills, and community activities
- Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life
- Assist in the implementation of person-centred plans
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 6 months' experience in a care setting (preferably in disability services)
- Full clean driving licence
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Part-time residential: 49 hours per fortnight
- Evening midweek shifts: 4:30pm - 10:00pm
- Saturday shifts: 12 hours
- Sunday shifts: 10 hours
- No overnight sleepovers
- Extra relief shifts may also be available if desired
