Job Title

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Donegal. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated driver to work with a leading waste management business.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a range of Class 2 vehicles, including skip, RoRo, and bin lorries.
  • This is a full-time role involving safe and efficient collections and deliveries.

You will be at the forefront of our operations, contributing directly to our mission of creating a cleaner, greener future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Effectively manage your route to complete assigned collections and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and written records.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
  • A clean and valid Category C licence.
  • A current Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC qualification.

You must have excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety. Good knowledge of the local area is also required.

Benefits & Compensation
  • Competitive Pay: hourly rate of €17.30.
  • Daily Bonuses: Receive a €10 attendance bonus and a €3.90 completion bonus per day.
  • Subsistence Allowance: An extra €16.29 per day to cover expenses.

Working Hours & Schedule
  • This is a stable, full-time position on a Monday to Friday schedule. Occasional Saturday work may be required.
  • Start Times:
    • HGV Class 2 Driver: Early start at 5 am.
    • Multi-Skilled Driver: Start time is 8 am.
