
Project Scheduler

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our team. As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed resource loaded schedules of construction projects using Primavera.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scheduling and experience working with Primavera P6. You will be able to coordinate multiple sources of schedule inputs into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required.
You will also have experience building critical path schedules from first principles, interviewing and leading workshops with project resources; experienced in defining and agreeing progress reporting approaches with contractors.
Familiarity with large capital programs, extensive pre-construction programming and scheduling experience managing complex, multi-group, multi-disciplinary development projects is essential.
You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to plan, manage and prioritize work to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop individual Project Gantt Charts from first principles using Primavera P6 in accordance with the Delivery Programmes standard Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Coordinate with Project Managers and other stakeholders to identify realistic durations for all activities across the full lifecycle of projects including Feasibility, Design, Statutory Planning, Procurement, Construction and Operational Readiness.
- Develop leads, lags, contingency allowances (float) and dependencies to identify the critical path for each project.
- Maintain and update individual project schedules monthly and update the integrated Master Programme Schedule to enable enterprise-wide reporting.
- Perform contractor schedule reviews and analysis on an ongoing basis and as part of tender evaluations across various projects.
- Evaluate project changes and amendments for impact on budget and schedule.
- Assist with the development of Earned Value Analysis monitoring across the portfolio of projects.
- Assist with preparation of reports to the Project Management Team.
- Prepare cost loaded schedules to support detailed cash flow projections.
- Provide administrative support within the Project Controls team, including data analysis and compiling summary documents.
- Facilitate cross-project schedule meetings with design consultants, contracting entities and contractors to align on scheduling expectations and drive consistency in methodology.
- Interface with pre-construction, construction, design and capacity planning teams to produce schedules for project kick-off, budget generation and construction timeframes.
- Work with SMEs to understand and inform schedule impacts of new designs, materials and construction methods.
- Develop a healthy interface between schedulers and Cost & Risk Management to inform spend forecasting and risk identification.
- Formulate analysis of programme controls data and create summary level programme reports for ad-hoc queries.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or equivalent technical degree and/or minimum 10+ years' experience.
- Ability to coordinate multiple sources of schedule inputs into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required.
