About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional to join our team as a Project Scheduler. The successful candidate will have previous experience in construction programming or project scheduling and planning, with strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and critical path methodology.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta Powerproject, and have excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. They will also be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop logical and detailed project schedules using software programs.
  2. Plan resources, equipment, and material requirements to optimize efficiency.
  3. Identify key project activities and update programs in response to changes in scope or unforeseen events.
  4. Track project milestones against baseline and report on progress to senior management.
  5. Assist in developing cost-effective project plans and estimating completion times.
  6. Update schedules based on design changes, delays, or unforeseen issues.
  7. Generate reports, Gantt charts, and visual timelines for internal teams and client presentations.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction programming or project scheduling and planning.
  • Proficient in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta Powerproject.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and critical path methodology.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
