Job Title: Evening Operations Manager

The role of the Evening Operations Manager is crucial in ensuring seamless hotel operations during nighttime hours. This individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

This position plays a pivotal role in managing front office duties, including night audit reports and check-in/check-out processes, thereby contributing to the strategic management of the hotel.

An ideal candidate should possess excellent knowledge of the hotel industry, strong leadership and people development skills, as well as excellent organisational skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the hotel efficiently and effectively during nighttime hours.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through effective guest relations and communication.
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks, including fire walks and security audits.
  • Manage front office duties, including night audit reports and check-in/check-out processes.
  • Lead and develop a team of Night Porters, focusing on their career growth and development.
  • Implement Food and Beverage services at night, promoting sales and revenue growth.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar night or reception role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the hotel industry and its operations.
  • Strong leadership and people development skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
  • Warm and approachable personality, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
