Project Coordinator Engineer

Our team requires a skilled and experienced Project Coordinator Engineer to oversee the successful execution of various projects. You will work closely with the Site Manager/PM to ensure the day-to-day site functions are running smoothly.

  • Strong understanding of quality, safety, and environmental standards is essential for this role.
  • Coordination of sub-contractors involves liaising with external teams and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitoring and control of health and safety standards require close attention to detail and adherence to company protocols.
  • Liaising with the design team on construction issues ensures that our projects meet the required specifications.
  • Raising RFIs with the design team helps to clarify any ambiguities and ensures that our projects remain on track.
  • Issuing requisitions for materials streamlines the procurement process and ensures that all necessary materials are available when needed.

Requirements include a Degree-qualified Engineer, 3+ years of experience (preferably in a main contractor environment), strong Setting Out/Levels experience, reinforced concrete works experience, and building experience in Commercial/Industrial/Educational sectors. Knowledge of BIM is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinating sub-contractors and monitoring their progress.
  • Controlling health and safety standards and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Liaising with the design team to resolve construction-related issues.
  • Preparing and issuing requisitions for materials.
Requirements:
