Electrical Site Lead Role Overview

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

This role is pivotal in project development, overseeing a crew of direct and subcontract labour while maintaining hands-on involvement.

  • The Electrical Site Lead will support the site management team with daily tasks and ensure scope of work is accurately delivered.
  • All additional requests outside the project scope must be captured and communicated to the Quantity Surveyor team.
  • A key focus will be on ensuring Health and Safety protocols are not breached and promoting a culture of quality excellence among crew members.
  • The successful candidate will maintain high-quality works while adhering to building regulations, National Rules for Electrical Installations, and environmental standards.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of sectors, including commercial, pharmaceutical, life sciences, blue chip, construction, and more.

The ideal candidate will have opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills as responsibilities grow and evolve.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 2 years' experience in an equivalent position.
  • Hold a minimum Level 6 QQI Certificate in Electrical Craft Practice or equivalent qualification.
  • The ability to demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and practical application would be advantageous.
  • Prior experience with LOTO procedures is required.
