Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our architecture and making significant contributions to it while maintaining a hands-on approach.

They will also oversee the product delivery pipeline, breaking down large goals into clear work-streams and assigning them to the right people.

Additionally, they will review designs, interfaces, and code for quality, security, performance, and cost-efficiency.

Furthermore, they will partner with Product and stakeholders to deliver high-impact increments every iteration.

Requirements
  • A proven track record as a principal or senior software engineer with leadership experience in distributed and cloud enterprise products.
  • Extensive experience in backend development, ideally with search systems (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or similar) and other SQL/NOSQL - distributed system development experience.
  • Enterprise-grade security knowledge across build pipelines, release processes, and runtime.
  • Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes on at least one major cloud provider.
  • Strong system-administration fundamentals and DevOps mindset.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills; able to influence across functions.
