Facilities Technician Job Summary

At our European manufacturing site, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Technician with an Electrical/Mechanical background to support the efficient operation of the facilities and electrical infrastructure.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who can perform routine/preventive maintenance on electrical and other facilities infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in a regulated facilities maintenance environment, knowledge of Maximo CMMS, GMP standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage contractors effectively.

  • Perform routine/preventive maintenance on electrical and other facilities infrastructure.
  • Provide timely troubleshooting support where required, particularly in response to equipment downtime situations.
  • Ensure that the site safety requirements are met.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
  • Support equipment installation, equipment moves, commissioning, qualification, and validation.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities and other repair tasks are accurately documented and that records are audit ready at all times.
  • Utilize Maximo CMMS to track and manage maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP standards in all maintenance tasks.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Participate in audits, risk assessments, stress testing scenarios for facility systems.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of external contractors.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using Maximo CMMS.
  • Strong understanding of GMP standards.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with BMS/EMS systems.
