About the Role

This EHS Specialist will be responsible for developing and monitoring environmental, health, and safety systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role is ideal for individuals with a relevant third-level qualification in Environmental Science or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement site-wide EHSS integrated management systems.
  • Perform risk assessments for various operations, equipment, and tasks, implementing associated risk controls where necessary.
  • Increase staff awareness of safety through promotion, training, and collaboration with departmental managers.
  • Conduct inspections and internal assessments to detect existing or potential hazards, recommending corrective or preventative measures.
  • Support EHS projects from initiation to completion.
  • Assist in accident investigations and incident prevention opportunities.
  • Develop, establish, and conduct training programs on environmental, health, and safety practices.
Requirements
  • A relevant third-level qualification in Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in pharmaceutical, food, medical device, or chemical manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with all relevant EHS regulations and site environmental and safety management systems.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A strong compliance mindset regarding company and legal requirements.
