Job Title: Senior Speech and Language Therapist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with children who require speech and language therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support the child's development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Current registration with CORU.
  • Significant experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist with a focus on paediatrics.
  • Strong knowledge of paediatric speech and language disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the children and the service.
  • Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
  • Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
  • All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
  • International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
