We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to clients with speech and language disorders, working closely with the therapy services team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and diagnose clients with speech and language disorders, providing accurate and timely diagnoses to inform treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in speech and language therapy, applying this knowledge to improve treatment outcomes and advance professional development.
- Hold a degree in Clinical Speech and Language Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Be registered with CORU as a qualified Speech and Language Therapist.
- Have a professional approach to work, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess a dysphagia qualification, essential for this role.
- Have a strong understanding of speech and language disorders, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment options.
