- We are looking for a dedicated individual with recognized qualifications in Speech and Language Therapy, CORU registration, and dysphagia qualification.
- Your experience working with older adults with communication and swallowing needs will be invaluable in providing holistic care tailored to each patient.
- As a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering specialist dysphagia assessments and evidence-based interventions.
- You will work closely with patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, acquired brain injury, and progressive neurological disease.
- Assess, diagnose, and intervene with adults suffering from swallowing, communication, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to ensure every patient has the best chance at recovery and an improved quality of life.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service development, ensuring seamless collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
- Educate and support patients, families, and healthcare staff to provide safe and effective care.
- CORU registration
- Dysphagia qualification
- Relevant acute hospital or rehabilitation experience
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
