Gaming Content Linguist

Translation and transcreation is a key part of this role. The linguist will be translating and transcreating player support, community, and in-game content from English into Russian for mobile games.
This involves testing, identifying, and reporting bugs related to language, text implementation, and user interface (UI) issues. Suggestions for bug fixes will also be required.
- Translate/trans create high-quality in-game, player support, and community content from English to Russian.
- Perform Quality Assurance tasks on published content such as games and websites.
- Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations assigned to ensure optimal quality.
- Suggest improvements that will enhance translation quality.
- Collaborate with other linguists to achieve cross-group Quality objectives.
Requirements:
- Native level Russian speaker.
- Passion for the gaming industry.
- Educational qualification in linguistics.
- Experience in translation, copywriting, or linguistics.
- Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills in both Russian and English.
- Good PC knowledge including MS office products.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CAT tool software an advantage.
