Game Content Translator and Quality Assurance Specialist

Keywords Studios is an international technical services provider to the global games industry, offering a range of services including localization, testing, audio, art creation, and customer support.

The company was established in 1998 in Dublin and operates in 13 studios across 10 countries, supporting clients across over 40 languages and 12 game platforms.

The role will be based at Keywords International Limited HQ in South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate and trans create from English into Japanese player support, community and in-game content for mobile games.
  • Test, identify, and report bugs, as well as suggest fixes to potential bugs relating to language, text implementation, and user interface (UI) issues.
Requirements:
  • Native level Japanese speaker.
  • Passion for the games industry.
  • Educational qualification in linguistics.
  • Experience in translation, copywriting or linguistics.
  • Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills both in Japanese and English.
  • Good PC knowledge, including knowledge of MS office products.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with CAT tool software is an advantage.
