Our organization is seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Residential Support Workers in Wexford: Enniscorthy.

The successful candidates will work in a residential setting supporting individuals with all activities of daily living and enabling them to live independent lives in line with HIQA national standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower service users to live independent lives within their residential home and community.
  • Transport service users to facilitate access to all daily living activities.
  • Participate in household duties, including cooking, laundry, general cleaning, and shopping.
  • Maintain professional communication and relationships with the team.
  • Be aware of safe working conditions and implement safe work practices, immediately reporting potential hazards, incidents, and concerns.
  • Engage positively and actively in team meetings, supervisions, training, and team events.
  • Perform other duties that involve providing an excellent standard of care to service users.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
  • A relevant qualification within the healthcare sector, minimum QQI Level 5 major award (with 8 modules completed).
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a full clean manual driving license and access to own transport.
  • Have an excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of HIQA standards.
  • Work or student experience in social care or a relevant sector.
