Senior Billing and Collections Specialist

Our organization requires a seasoned Billing & Collections Manager to fill this critical role. Key responsibilities include overseeing workloads, maintaining team structure, supporting team development, and ensuring alignment between team members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the performance of the billing and collections team, coordinating workloads, supporting team growth, and ensuring team alignment with stakeholders.
- Coach team members on achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) for billing and WIP (Work in Progress), providing areas of concern reports to team members and leading performance management discussions.
- Lead the onboarding and training of new Billing Assistants, reviewing updates to relevant training materials as needed.
- Oversee a team of Billing Assistants, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant billing cycles by providing coaching support, implementing training, and balancing workloads during peak periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders, drive performance improvement, and foster strong working relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of billing processes, including timely and accurate billing cycles, credit control, and resolving billing issues.
- Experience analyzing financial data, generating reports, and implementing improvement action plans.
- Strong leadership, management, and people management skills to effectively manage and guide a team of Billing Assistants with previous experience managing teams and driving performance improvement.
