Job Title: Billing and Collections Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to a team of billing professionals, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
  • Create and manage KPIs for revenue growth, WIP reduction, and lock-up improvement.
  • Drive performance improvement through coaching and structured development plans.
  • Maintain a culture of accountability and quality within the billing team.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for billing matters for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with legal teams, operations, and finance to execute billing strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Provide insights on trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to finance leaders.
  • Support strategic initiatives around client fee arrangements, matter management, and financial hygiene.
  • Oversight of the full billing lifecycle, including implementation of initiatives to reduce WIP-to-cash cycle times.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance in billing practices, including VAT application and regulatory alignment.
  • Lead the rollout of global finance transformation projects and digital tools aimed at enhancing billing performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee resolution of complex billing scenarios, including e-billing and multi-jurisdictional clients.
  • Monitor billing trends, lock-up metrics, and aged receivables to inform leadership decisions.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to support business planning and improve cashflow visibility.
