IT Support Specialist Job Opportunity

The role of IT Support Specialist involves managing day-to-day IT operations for employees in Ireland. Based onsite in the Little Island HQ, you will be responsible for supporting onboarding and transfer requests, providing support for integration activities, resolving complex and advanced IT issues with Global teams, and supporting services related to Lifecycle management, Asset Management, License Management, and User Access management for end users software and hardware.

You will provide a positive and supportive experience to colleagues, coordinate uninterrupted IT support, and communicate ongoing strategy and execution with colleagues. You will also work with end users to provide training, advice, and guidance on IT systems and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years IT experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience of supporting Windows laptops, desktops, Microsoft Office365 applications, and mobile devices
  • Microsoft Windows Desktop Certifications or CompTIA A+, experience with Microsoft SCCM and ITIL Certification is a plus
  • Proven experience handling enquiries and escalations
  • Experience of providing IT support in a Manufacturing environment would be beneficial
  • Occasional travel to two additional Cork sites will be required, access to a Car is essential

  • Onsite 5 days per week, working hours 7am – 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am – 2.30pm on Friday
