Job Role:

This role involves working on plant maintenance and large-scale project improvement.

  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Responsible for a specific plant process area
  • Ensuring preventative and predictive maintenance is completed
  • Planning major shutdowns/overhauls
  • Managing contractors on projects
  • Improving plant availability, troubleshooting maintenance issues
  • Enhancing safety and environmental standards
  • Scoping projects that increase business returns
  • Constructing and installing new projects
  • Commissioning and handing over

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety in heavy industry
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven technical skills and strong commercial acumen
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, Autocad)
  • Attention to detail and capability to work independently
  • A history of contributing to previous employer performance
