Digital Content Editor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Content Curator to join our team. As a Content Curator, you will be responsible for curating, editing, and enhancing content for publication across our digital channels.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional journalism experience as an editor or sub-editor with digital experience. You should have a comprehensive knowledge of house style and good knowledge of media law, especially defamation, privacy, copyright, and data protection.
You will work in collaboration with the Section Editors to oversee the editing of content for various titles. The role requires excellent communication skills, decisiveness, and the ability to work under exacting deadlines with speed and attention to detail.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Professional journalism experience as an editor or sub-editor with digital experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of house style
- Good knowledge of media law, especially defamation, privacy, copyright, and data protection
- Curate, edit, and enhance content for publication across digital channels
- Work in collaboration with Section Editors to oversee content editing
- Ensure high-quality content meets required standards and is delivered on time
