Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Microbiologist to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Bulk Drug Facility with emphasis on microbiological testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Environmental and Facilities monitoring sampling and testing.
  2. Support release and stability programs on site.
  3. Maintain high cGMP, GLP standards while testing and adhere to schedules and targets to meet regulatory and business requirements.
  4. Ensure high standards of housekeeping and safety in the Laboratory.
  5. Complete project work and implement initiatives to improve laboratory efficiency.
  6. Update management on issues within the laboratory.
  7. Investigate out-of-specification/limit results using Structured Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, in collaboration with relevant departments, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  8. Train laboratory personnel and participate in the development, operation, and evaluation of training programs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a cGMP Quality environment.
  • Experience in testing sterile/non-sterile pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical products.
  • Good knowledge of current regulatory requirements for Microbiology / Sterility Assurance supporting cGMP operations.
  • Degree in Microbiology or related science.
