Biomedical Research ProfessionalJob Overview:

As a Biomedical Research Professional, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient-focused services by performing technical duties under the guidance of senior scientists. You will be responsible for maintaining the department's accreditation with international standards and assist in training junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance existing laboratory practices and protocols as directed.
  • Assist in implementing quality control measures and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform routine assays in the Immunogenetics Laboratory.
  • Monitor antibody status and perform cross-matching tests.
  • Contribute to HLA typing and cell processing activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Medical Science or equivalent qualification validated by relevant authorities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in laboratory practices and quality management systems.
