Key Role: Medical Scientist - Histology

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Scientist (Basic Grade) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to contribute directly to patient care and clinical outcomes.

Job Description:
  • Contribute to the efficient processing of Histology tests and specimens, adhering to departmental protocols and accreditation standards.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, including policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to introduce new technologies and ideas.
  • Assist in managing laboratory supplies and investigating non-conformances and equipment issues.
  • Engage in ongoing quality assurance efforts, including participation in internal and external audits.
  • Support training and mentorship of junior staff and promote a positive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
  • Must hold or be eligible for membership with the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM)/CORU or equivalent regulatory body.
  • Minimum of 1-year post-training laboratory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Histology is required.
