Leading Business Analyst for Facilities Management Systems

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill this challenging role. As a senior business analyst, you will provide expert advice and lead various projects within the facilities management systems domain.
This key position plays a pivotal part in our strategic programme focused on leveraging CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) applications to drive business value and efficiency.
You will have the opportunity to oversee technical areas within business analysis projects using established frameworks and tools, while creating project plans that deliver timely and budget-friendly results.
Responsibilities:- Lead multiple phases of technical workstreams within projects or manage small-scale initiatives with moderate complexity.
- Map comprehensive business processes and implement solutions for technological and process enhancements, particularly in the facilities management sphere.
- Collect business requirements from stakeholders and review existing ones to create detailed business requirement specifications.
- Facilitate workshops using proven techniques to generate detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Evaluate complete requirement coverage by guiding team contributions and fostering effective communication.
- Apply standards and methodologies, providing expertise on methods and tools.
- Analyse needs, task plan, process/data analysis, and modelling, including relational database design.
- Identify and assess risks impacting project success.
- Pursue stakeholder agreement on the project approach and prepare realistic plans (quality, risk, communications).
- Monitor project activities against the schedule and coordinate stakeholder involvement as necessary.
- Support staff development and competency building.
- Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent experience.
- Management qualification or relevant years of experience.
- Additonal course or certification in Business Analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- People management abilities - designing learning interventions to foster knowledge sharing and transfer.
- Teamwork and emotional intelligence.
- Good self-management – continuous performance is both a goal and mindset.
- Ability to innovate - combining creativity with vigilance.
- High importance placed on openness and transparency.
- Proven experience working with CAFM systems essential.
- At least 5-7 years working as a Senior Business Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and awareness of emerging technologies.
- Experience facilitating large workshops with multiple stakeholders.
- Key stakeholder management across different locations.
- Solid applications/technology knowledge, ideally within facilities or property management domains.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure quality standards through guidance and procedure development.
- Experience applying problem-solving methodologies and tools to diagnose and resolve operational issues.
- Ability to provide technical support to junior colleagues.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience using project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking.
