
Business Development Manager – Facilities Optimization

You will join a high-performance team of business analysts as a senior member providing professional advice and expertise. This role is a key part of a strategic programme focused on facilities management systems.
This position requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to map full business processes and implement solutions for technological and process improvements within the facilities management domain.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) systems and at least 5-7 years of experience working as a senior business analyst.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate multiple phases of technical areas within a project or multiple small projects of moderate scope and complexity.
- Gather business requirements from stakeholders and review existing ones to produce detailed business requirement specification documents.
- Run workshops using proven techniques to create detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure complete requirement coverage by supporting and guiding team contributions and communication.
- Apply standards and methodologies, and provide expertise on the use of methods and tools.
- Conduct needs analysis, task planning, process/data analysis and modelling, and/or logical database design with relational databases.
- Identify and assess risks to the success of the project.
- Agree on the project approach with stakeholders and prepare realistic plans including quality, risk, and communications plans.
- Track activities against the project schedule and manage stakeholder involvement as appropriate.
- A relevant third-level qualification or equivalent work experience is required.
Desirable:
- A management qualification or relevant years of experience would be beneficial.
- An additional course or certification in business analysis would also be advantageous.
- Excellent client-facing skills are essential.
- People management skills including introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions.
- Teamwork and emotional intelligence are crucial.
- Good self-management, continuous performance is both a goal and a mindset.

- A high value on openness and transparency.
- Proven experience working with CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) systems is essential.
- At least 5-7 years of experience working as a senior business analyst.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and awareness of new and emerging technologies.
- Proven experience facilitating and running large workshops with multiple stakeholders.
- Solid applications/technology knowledge ideally within facilities or property management domains.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure project quality standards through guidance and procedure development.
- Experience applying problem-solving methodologies and tools to diagnose and resolve operational issues.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and support to junior colleagues.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience using project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking.
