Job Title: Traffic Management Coordinator

Description:

This role is centered around overseeing the implementation of traffic control measures for roadworks and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure safe and efficient traffic flow on public roads by planning and delivering scheduled works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements for traffic control activities.
  • Monitor, record, and report on traffic management operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and traffic regulations.
  • Collaborate with site teams, contractors, and local stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Previous experience in traffic management or a similar role, full clean driving license, strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Desirable: Qualification in Traffic Management (e.g. SLG, TTMO, or equivalent), Category E driving license.
  • Personal Attributes: Flexible approach, physically fit, reliable, safety-driven, and team-oriented individual.

Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in traffic management or a similar role, along with a strong understanding of health and safety requirements. A qualification in Traffic Management (e.g. SLG, TTMO, or equivalent) and Category E driving license are also desirable.
