Food Service Professional

We are seeking experienced catering assistants to work in kitchens and canteens.
As a catering assistant, you will be responsible for basic food preparation tasks, maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of food preparation areas, serving patients and residents, and understanding daily menu portion control.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a catering assistant, good level of spoken English, ability to work well in a team and on own initiative, excellent time management skills, and a strong work ethic.
Key responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, organising food preparation areas, following dietary charts, and ensuring counters are replenished and tidy throughout service.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to:
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
Successful candidates will have a flexible approach to work, be able to work independently, and be willing to take on additional duties outside of general responsibilities.
