Job Overview

Manage and lead a team of engineers working on retrofits and upgrades for data centers in the EMEA region.

This role requires strategic direction, leadership skills, and technical expertise to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results.

You will be responsible for creating and improving metrics, establishing regional team roadmaps, and communicating technical strategy with minimal guidance.

A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a distributed engineering team in EMEA.
  • Develop employees aligned with Amazon Leadership Principles.
  • Manage team and individual performance.
  • Create and improve metrics.
  • Establish regional team roadmap and resource planning.
  • Communicate technical strategy.
  • Identify risks and dependencies.
  • Drive timeliness, quality, operational stability, and alignment with customer requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical, mechanical, structural engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years managing a distributed engineering team.
  • Experience leading teams with 6+ direct reports for 4+ years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities, meet deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment/design for data centers.
  • Ability to develop solutions and execute plans on complex projects.
