IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

About the Role

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, ensuring that they have access to the resources they need to do their jobs efficiently.

  • This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring new equipment, and maintaining existing systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Install and configure new equipment, including printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Maintain existing systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
  • Develop and implement procedures for documenting and tracking technical issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical support, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
