The Financial Operations Lead is a critical role that requires a strong finance professional to oversee the delivery of high-quality Shared Services support across all Group locations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve financial processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions through daily oversight and month-end accounting processes.
- Proactively manage and mitigate foreign exchange (FX) exposure risks, ensuring the company maintains a stable financial position.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial reports, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
- Guarantee accurate and timely payment to employees and suppliers, maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Irish and UK business tax regulations, including Relevant Contracts Tax.
- Lead a team of professionals delivering Shared Services support across Group sites, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Oversee the smooth integration of new sites into the Shared Services framework, ensuring seamless operations.
Beyond the technical aspects, the Financial Operations Lead will drive operational improvements, continuously review and enhance internal processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:- Professional Accounting Qualification – ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA.
- 3 Years experience in a SSC environment, with a strong understanding of financial operations.
- Knowledge of UK and Irish payroll functions and regulations an advantage.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and effective manner.
- Managerial experience an advantage.
