Job Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Process Technician II. This is a permanent role that requires the successful candidate to possess a range of skills and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, process improvement, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems. A background in lean manufacturing, theory of constraints, quick response manufacturing, Just-In-Time, Methods-Time Measurement, or other systems improvement philosophies would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment.
  • Continuous improvement of all types of mechanical and electrical systems to achieve maximum availability and equipment reliability.
  • Update and maintain all maintenance records in an efficient manner.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting on automated controls, electrical equipment, and mechanical systems.
  • Participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies.
  • Work in compliance with the site Safe Systems of Work including permitting, LOTO, isolations, and safety documentation review.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, EHS, and other departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of a Mechanical/Electrical/Multiskilled Apprenticeship or NFQ Level 6 qualification.
  • Experience within Medical Devices or a similar industry would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings would be beneficial.
  • Experience of working on and maintaining Electrical and Mechanical equipment within a regulated industry.
  • Experience with SAP-based Computerised Maintenance Management System and electronic Maintenance Request Systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational ability.
