Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Secretary to join our Head Office in East Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and professional team, with the flexibility of either full-time or part-time working hours on offer.

As a Litigation Secretary, you will provide dedicated secretarial and administrative support to solicitors within the Litigation department. Your responsibilities will include preparing and formatting correspondence, court documents, and legal forms to a high standard, managing case files, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring deadlines are met.

You will also be handling dictation and audio typing with accuracy and efficiency, liaising with clients in a professional manner, both in person and over the phone, and supporting the wider team with ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Litigation setting.
  • Proficiency in audio typing and strong IT skills, including MS Office.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Professional communication skills, with the ability to deal confidently with clients and colleagues.
