About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring materials in approved quantities, maintaining necessary records, and expediting orders to ensure timely vendor delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • International Sourcing: Identify and source materials from global suppliers
  • Purchasing: Determine requirements and procure materials in approved quantities
  • Logistics: Manage the movement of goods from suppliers to customers
  • Order Management: Expedite orders to ensure timely vendor delivery
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of open orders and shipments
  • Costing: Assist with calculating last time buy quantities for parts approaching End of Life
  • Fulfillment: Ensure timely delivery of Sample and Demo Hardware Requirements
  • RMAs: Transact returns and replacements through Oracle
  • Ad Hoc Shipments: Arrange urgent shipments outside of Oracle

Requirements:

  • Prior Purchasing or Buyer experience
  • Strong systems experience, preferably Oracle
  • Technical proficiency in computer packages and applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
