Quality Nursing Manager Role Midlands

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and support quality, compliance, and governance across multiple nursing homes in the Midland region.

  • The successful candidate will provide expert guidance to management teams on HIQA compliance and regulatory best practices.
  • They will lead internal audits, develop corrective action plans, and oversee follow-up activities to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • This role involves supporting the creation, review, and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a culture of learning, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • The ideal candidate will mentor and develop staff, promoting their growth and development within the organisation.
  • They will oversee safeguarding practices, risk management, and incident reporting across the group, ensuring all necessary measures are in place to protect patients and staff.
  • This position requires analysing and reporting on quality metrics, contributing to organisational planning and development.
Candidate Profile
  • A Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration is essential for this role.
  • A postgraduate qualification in healthcare management, quality, or clinical governance is also required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a quality, governance, or compliance role within healthcare is expected.
  • The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of HIQA standards and best practice in person-centred care.
  • They should demonstrate proven expertise in audits, risk management, staff mentoring, and policy development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills are essential for this position.
  • A full driver's licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites are also required.
