About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our organization's efforts in promoting food safety and nutrition across the island of Ireland. This includes developing and implementing strategies to promote awareness and knowledge of these critical issues among the public, professionals, and the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction for our organization's food safety and nutrition initiatives.
  • Manage internal and external relationships to achieve our goals.
  • Foster close cooperation with relevant agencies and professionals to ensure effective delivery of our functions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years senior management experience in an organization of similar or greater size and complexity.
  • Proven track record of achievement in senior management roles within public, private, voluntary or community sectors, or professional practice.
  • Experience of managing budgets of significant scale.
