Job Summary

This role requires an experienced HR professional to provide expert advice and support to affiliated credit unions in Ireland.

You will act as a trusted advisor, balancing the provision of day-to-day guidance with capability-building, policy development, and sector insights.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide clear and pragmatic advice on HR issues, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.
  • Maintain and update model HR policies and templates for ROI and NI, with annual reviews.
  • Deliver training events, webinars, and present at sector forums and conferences.
  • Draft concise updates on legislative changes, explaining practical implications for credit unions.
  • Produce quarterly HR insight reports for leadership and affiliate members.
Key Qualifications:

CIPD-qualified or equivalent, with at least 5 years' experience in HR advisory roles.

Strong knowledge of ROI employment law, working knowledge of NI employment law, and demonstrated experience handling complex ER cases.

Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills, with demonstrated successful delivery of training/webinars.
