About the Role

The Group Strategy and Risk function is responsible for reviewing and assessing the business environment, identifying growth opportunities, and determining ESB's overall strategy. It manages the company's enterprise risk process, ensuring major risks are identified, monitored, and escalated through coordination of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a team defining and driving ESB's new strategy and coordinating the ERM process to support management of risks to strategy delivery. The successful candidate will work with key stakeholders across the company and external partners to achieve this goal.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Group Strategy, Transformation and Risk function in reviewing and assessing the business environment and growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate the ERM process to ensure major risks and their controls are identified, monitored, escalated, and managed.
  • Liaise with Business Units/Directorates and the Executive Committee to monitor enterprise-level risks.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Programme Management Office to monitor delivery of Strategy through Strategic Initiatives and reporting of Strategic Performance Indicators.
  • Contribute to coordination with ExCo to support delivery and implementation of strategy and risk management activities.
