Job Title: Senior Trade Compliance Officer

Job Description

As a Senior Trade Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise and knowledge will be crucial in minimizing risks and avoiding penalties related to import and export violations.

You will report directly to our Trade Compliance Manager and work out of our Dublin location on a hybrid schedule. In this role, you will impact the company's global operations and success by developing and implementing trade compliance strategies, policies, and procedures.

You will be accountable for ensuring adherence to import and export regulations, managing import and export documentation, conducting internal audits, and providing guidance and facilitation to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures
  • Manage import and export documentation, including classification, licensing, and customs documentation
  • Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement
  • Provide guidance and facilitation to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters
  • Stay updated with changes in trade regulations and communicate the impact to the organization
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve trade compliance issues
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in trade compliance
  • Strong knowledge of import and export regulations
  • Experience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and compliance audits
  • Previous experience or knowledge of SAP & GTS would be preferable
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
