We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Technician to join our maintenance workshop in Navan, Co Meath. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a wide range of heavy goods vehicles, heavy plant, and commercial road maintenance equipment.

The successful applicant will have experience in conducting regular inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs & road maintenance plant & equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. They will also perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tyre rotations to prevent breakdowns and maximise vehicle performance.

The role involves working closely with other team members to achieve targets and objectives, while maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. We require the successful candidate to be able to inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles to a high standard, as well as possess a valid driver's license.

Besides technical skills, we value strong communication and teamwork abilities. Our employees work collaboratively to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, providing excellent support and guidance to each other when needed.

  • Experience in identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • A valid driver's license
