Production Manager Job Description

The Production Manager will play a critical role in overseeing complex investment management platforms and applications.

This includes front-office investment systems, business support applications, and complex back-office data management platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the production of systems used by Front Office, Operations, and Client teams.
  • Oversight for the PGIM Fixed Income technology batch environment.
  • Ownership and accountability for the operation, monitoring, and integrity of the technology platform.
  • Availability to be on-call for failure escalations during evenings and weekends on a rotation basis.
  • Participation in incident and problem management processes, being accountable for resolution, root cause analysis, and technology/business reporting.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience working in a technology role preferably in software development and/or application support.
  • A continuous desire for learning and improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Research, analytical, investigation, and troubleshooting skills.
  • A sense of ownership and a willingness to bring incidents to resolution quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in Cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure).
  • Software development skills to perform code changes for bug fixes or automation tasks.
  • Motivation to operate independently and make necessary decisions within a global team.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively within a dynamic global environment.
